Hello Share Family! I started the Share Hampton Roads, VA Chapter in October 2021. I was initially introduced to Share by a dear friend after my first loss in 2018, but the following year that chapter unfortunately closed. After experiencing a second loss in 2021, I realized there was still such a need for this type of support in the Hampton Roads area. I wanted to establish a way to help other families through their grief, as well as honor the lives of my two babies I never got to meet. I have since been blessed with my rainbow baby and have made the decision to go back to school to further my education as a counselor. It has been such a pleasure serving families through Share, and I hope those who seek out this support find solace in the resources available on our page.

Hey y'all! Honestly, I am going to just be real and raw with you. My journey has been a roller coaster, and I know others feel the same. I have wanted to help others going through similar ups and downs in any way that I can. We all feel alone in this journey, and we need to know we actually are not. I was introduced to Share when my husband and I experienced our first loss in Spring 2017. I was given information about a Chapter that met monthly, and I started going about three months later. During our time with that group, we experienced four more losses, and I have been so thankful to have my group members by my side as a support system. I was with that Chapter until it closed in early 2020. This new Chapter starting opened so many new opportunities for support in the Hampton Roads area, which is exactly what was needed. I hope you find some comfort in knowing you are not alone.
